相比GR型电热式绀竭炉，XGR型采用双绀蜗可旋转形式，保温、熔解分开，保留了绀竭炉铝液纯净的优点，同时消除了同室保温和熔解导致的温度波动问题。可换绀竭的形式大大简化了更换铝合金号的步骤。碳化硅石墨绀蜗强度高、耐侵蚀，对强烈侵蚀普通耐火浇注料的铝合金号具有良好的耐受性，不易结瘤。

Compared with the GR type electric crucible furnace, the XGR type adoptsthe form of double crucible which can be rotated and separated for heatpreservation and melting, retaining the advantage of the purity of alumi-num liquid in the crucible furnace and eliminating the temperaturefluctuation caused by the mild melting in the same crucible.
The form of a replaceable crucible greatly simplifies the process of replacingthe aluminium alloy grades produced.Silicon carbide graphite cruciblehas high strength and corrosion resistance. It has good resistance to alumi-num alloy which strongly corrodes common refractory castable. lt is not easyto knot.
